Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company and Saud Bahwan Group yesterday signed an agreement for the commercial investment project "Ghubra Front", which will be built in Bawshar Heights in Al Ghubrah, and will extend over an area of 24,000 square meters, with a total cost of 5 million OMR.
The project consists of various commercial, recreational and service facilities that provide enriching experiences for the community and visitors, representing an important addition to the attractions in Muscat Governorate and in the Sultanate of Oman.
The project is designed in an architectural style that highlights the features of originality and is inspired by the nobility of the Omani heritage, and the "Ghubrah Front" consists of a cooled walkway, large green spaces, a children's play area, a musical water fountain, shops for the most famous brands, restaurants, cafes, a gym, a health center, a supermarket, event halls and a smart business center, and the project also includes the largest car service center built according to the highest international standards, and the shops enjoy their spacious spaces and high-end designs and are located in Al Maha Station which will meet sustainability standards using sources Green energy.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company by Eng. Hamad bin Salem Al Maghdari, CEO of Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company, and by Saud Bahwan Group Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Saud Al Mukhaini.
Eng. Hamad bin Salem Al-Maghdari, CEO of Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company, said that the Ghubrah Front project is a continuation of the private sector's initiatives in offering advanced and diverse projects that are compatible with the progress witnessed by the Sultanate of Oman in all fields, and the project adopts a modern concept of retail activities that mixes service, entertainment and commercial aspects and provides facilities for visitors to relax and complete work with the latest technologies through the Smart Business Center.
He added that the Al Ghubrah Front project is part of Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company's direction to continue expanding and diversifying its activities to maintain sustainable growth and keep pace with changes in the business environment, and the project also reflects the sustainability approach adopted by the company with the aim of effectively contributing to the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman towards reducing carbon emissions in various economic sectors and increasing the exploitation of renewable sources to produce clean energy. In line with the directions of the Sultanate of Oman, which aims to reach zero carbon neutrality by 2050, and through the wide green spaces in the project, the use of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, the "Ghubrah Front" project provides a model for sustainable projects that represent an important component of the future economy in the Sultanate of Oman, and we are proud of the project's role in providing jobs, raising Omanization rates and opening promising opportunities for the activities of small and medium enterprises.
