Territorial Controller - Al Wusta

1- Job Purpose:

To maximize sale and throughput, minimize the cost of operation & enhance services of the filling stations to improve the customer’s satisfaction in QHSE frame.

2- Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Territorial Controller:

  • Optimise the relationship with fuel station’s landlords
  • Ensure sufficiency and quality of manning on the retail sites for safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction with the coordination with the Fuel Station Management Department

Monitor daily sales and operations at fuel stations:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance
  • Monitor facilities at filling stations and ensure that facilities are up to required standards.
  • Make a daily visit schedule and report schedule to the Retail Supervisor
  • Provide schedule completion details to the Retail Supervisor.
  • Monitor customer service at stations.
  • The monthly cash book in company operated stations should check and verify and submitted to finance before 3 of the next month.
  • Resolve customer service issues as raised.
  • Monitor daily collections at stations and ensure remittance to the company.
  • Report delay in collection/payments to the Retail Supervisor & Debt Collection
  • Monitor Stock and order placed managed by Fuel Station Management Dept
  • Track achievement of sales versus set targets.
  • Report any issue occur at fuel stations to the Retail Supervisor & Fuel Station Management & ensure the concerned persons resolve it.
  • Records any loss in sales due to fuel supply delay or due to lack of fuel order capturing

Monitor QHSE activities at filling stations:

  • Regularly monitor QHSE processes, procedures and standards’ compliance at filling stations.
  • Ensure awareness and training of all filling station staff in HSE activity.

Explore avenues for maximizing sales through the station:

  • Identify customer purchase trends at stations.
  • Coordinate with Fuel Card Dept to target new customers
  • Escalate to marketing through Retail Supervisor for devising marketing plan to maximize sales.

Execute marketing plan at stations

  • Along with marketing, execute marketing plans / events at Stations.
  • Provide data on implemented marketing plans / schemes.
  • Ensure availability of facilities for providing service through Al Maha products (e.g. Fuel Cards).

HSE Standards:

  • Understands the HSE policies and procedures of the company and adheres to them at all times.
  • Reports incidents of HSE violations and lapses to relevant authority.
  • Report to the maintenance and issues or damages in the stations on a daily basis through Smart sheet

3- Job Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential Qualifications: Bachelor in Marketing or Finance or related. 
  • Experience: 2 Years in related field.
