Al-Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company SAOG was established in 1993. The name Al Maha was given in honor of the rare and protected gazelle species of Arabian Oryx.

On 7th February 2004, the company was converted from a limited liability company to a General Omani joint stock company known as Al-Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company S.A.O.G. and was listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange (MHAS).

The company has been a strategic partner in the development and support of the Sultanate's infrastructure for the past 3 decades, supplying fuel during the construction, commissioning and ongoing operations of many major projects across Oman.    

Through capital investment and growth, Al Maha has developed services that reach the most inaccessible parts of the Sultanate. Our service stations provide essential fuel and non-fuel supplies along the length and breadth of the country.

Al Maha aims to build on this history of reliability, sustainability and innovations to identify and deliver the products and services that will benefit customers and shareholders in the future.

For centuries, Arab poets have written about the tenacity of the Arabian Oryx (Al Maha) and how it symbolizes dignity, pride, and power. These are the very values that the Al Maha brand stands for. The quiet dignity and power that comes from being one of the largest and most highly respected corporate entities of Oman, the pride of being able to serve thousands of customers every day and also help play a significant role in developing the infrastructure of our country by providing essential fuels and lubricants for projects from Musandam to Dhofar.

For over 30 years, the Oryx logo of Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company SAOG has been proudly visible across the length and breadth of the Sultanate of Oman.

Red is the color of courage and passion. White symbolizes purity and cleanliness and together, the two primary colors of our logo summarise our vision to be ready for our
customers and to be with them everywhere.

Today, Al Maha is the name that powers thousands of individual vehicles, large road transport fleets, planes, and ships. At Al Maha, while we look back at our 30 years of history with pride, we also look forward to the future with the hope of a new tomorrow fuelled by alternative energy sources of which we too aspire to be a part of.
